Inspiration 3 : The Longaberger Basket Building
The Longaberger Basket Building is a truely impressive example of Mimetic Architecture. It was the brainchild of the Longaberger Empire Founder Dave Longaberger and is his company’s head office.
The basket is a replica; 160 times larger of Longaberger’s Medium Market Basket. It’s 192ft. long by 126ft. wide at the bottom, spreading to 208ft. long by 142ft. wide at the roofline. It’s a magnificent sight - especially at night!
